TEAM FCA

FCA unites two passions, faith and athletics, to impact the world for Jesus Christ. We’ve been on one mission for over 60 years. Our staff are fully aligned with our Vision and Mission and living out the FCA Values in ministering “to and through the coach” for the greatest influence. Discover more about FCA.

OUR VISION IS TO SEE THE WORLD IMPACTED FOR JESUS CHRIST THROUGH THE INFLUENCE OF COACHES AND ATHLETES.

OUR VISION IS TO SEE THE WORLD IMPACTED FOR JESUS CHRIST THROUGH THE INFLUENCE OF COACHES AND ATHLETES.

OUR MISSION

To present to coaches and athletes, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.

THE 4 C’s OF MINISTRY

COACHES MINISTRY

The Coaches Ministry focuses on ministering to the heart of the coach first, and then through the coach by engaging them with the Four C’s of Ministry. The types of Coaches Ministry are: Coaches Huddles, Coaches Conventions, Training Clinics and Coaches Retreats.

Coaches are the heart of FCA. Our vision is to see coaches transformed who then by their coaching bring transformation to the people of sports. We desire to see biblical coaches who are Christians who happen to coach, rather than just coaches who happen to be Christians. When coaches become followers of Jesus Christ, their character, their relationships and their approach to coaching will be authentic.

CAMPUS MINISTRY

The Campus Ministry is a certified ministry that is initiated and led by student-athletes, sponsored by coaches, supported by staff, established on junior high, high school or college campuses and meets on a regular basis.

The types of Campus Ministry are: Club Huddle, Team Huddle, Chaplain Huddle and Coaches Huddle.

The school campus can be one of the most strategic mission fields with many youth passing through this portal. FCA focuses on equipping, enabling, empowering and encouraging student-athletes, coaches and adult leaders to impact and influence their campus for Christ.

CAMP MINISTRY

An FCA Camp is a certified ministry event that uses the annual theme and scripture for athletes and coaches to develop athletic skills, create influential relationships and encounter Jesus Christ.

The types of Camps are: Sports, Leadership, Coaches, Power, Team, Partnership and International. Camps are a time of “inspiration and perspiration.”

FCA provides athletes and coaches the opportunity to reach their God-given potential by offering comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training in a camp environment. We create an athletic environment that produces spiritual transformation in the lives of coaches and athletes in a camp setting.

COMMUNITY MINISTRY

The Community Ministry is the off-campus opportunities to reach coaches and athletes through the club and recreation sport environment.

The types of Community Ministry are: Team Huddle, Chaplain Huddle, Coaches Huddle, Club Huddle and FCA Sport Teams. With the majority of athletes playing sports in the community (non-campus programs), FCA is ministering to the club, recreational and youth sports teams with the goal of establishing on-going ministry for coaches and athletes to compete for Jesus Christ with character, passion and excellence.

OUR STRATEGY:
TO AND THROUGH THE COACH

FCA’s ministry strategy is “to and through the coach.” It has been said that one coach will impact more young people in a year than the average person does in a lifetime.

HOW DO WE DO IT?

FCA seeks to build relationships with coaches in order that they might trust Jesus, honor God in their lives and help others do the same.

Our staff have the incredible opportunity to be equipped and trained to engage some of the most influential people in modern culture and equip them to exponentially impact other coaches and their athletes so that they might also come to trust Jesus, honor God in their lives and help others do the same.

WE HAVE FOUR KEY ELEMENTS THAT ALLOW US TO EQUIP, ENCOURAGE AND EMPOWER COACHES AND ATHLETES TO PURSUE GOD:

HUDDLES

A Huddle is FCA’s certified small group bible study/devotion for coaches and athletes. There are three types of huddles: Coaches Huddles, Team Huddles and Multi-Sport Huddles.
